Chief Sales Officer Rainer Köhler: ”many interested visitors from Germany and abroad from the sectors relevant to us“
The world's leading trade fair for environmental technologies reflects the global growth of the industry: Around 142,000 visitors from almost 170 countries and regions came to this year's world's leading trade fair for water, sewage, waste and raw materials management, which took place at the Munich Exhibition Centre from 13 to 17 May. According to Messe München, these figures match the record level of 2018. For a week, over 100 national and international HUBER experts presented more than 50 product highlights at the trade fair stand, which covered an area of around 1,300 m².
Bavaria's Environment Minister Glauber at the HUBER stand: ”investment in the future and best environmental protection“
Thorsten Glauber, Bavarian State Minister for the Environment and Consumer Protection, was impressed by the sustainable, efficient and innovative solutions from HUBER on the very first day of the trade fair: ”With all these technical achievements, our environment, our nature, becomes a bit more valuable. Investment in the future and best environmental protection at the same time – at HUBER SE this combination is at home.“
Chief Sales Officer Rainer Köhler: ”many interested visitors from Germany and abroad”
Rainer Köhler, Chief Sales Officer of HUBER SE and member of the Executive Board of IFAT Munich:
”IFAT Munich 2024 was once again a very good platform for mutual exchange and to advance developments in various industries. The water and wastewater management, waste and recycling industries are very important for promoting recycling management and climate resilience. Water, energy, environment and climate are among the most important issues of our time. My personal impression of this year's IFAT is very positive: we at HUBER had many interested visitors from the areas relevant to us at our stand: Wastewater treatment plant operators, sewage plant managers, planners, engineering offices, representatives of municipalities and industry and many more from Germany and abroad.
We also had the honour of welcoming the Bavarian Minister of the Environment, Thorsten Glauber, to our stand. How impressed he was with our stand and the products on display – that was one of my personal highlights.“
The biggest IFAT of all time
The proportion of international visitors at IFAT Munich 2024 was over 50 per cent and thus higher than ever before. Of the 3,211 exhibitors, 55 per cent came from abroad. In total, companies from 61 countries and regions took part. With 300,000 m² of exhibition space, this year's IFAT Munich was also the largest ever. The next IFAT Munich will take place from 4 to 8 May 2026 at the exhibition centre in Munich.
